DESCRIPTION:Brisco artist Lynne Grillmair was born in Vancouver in 1947 an
 d grew up in the Fraser Valley\, where she attended school in Mission BC. 
 She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at UBC in 1969\, doing 
 studio work under the direction of Tony Only and B.C. Binning. She worked 
 as a chef in the Bugaboo ski lodge for 20 years\, and published a cookbook
  Gourmet in Paradise in 1987. She exhibited her work locally at Myrtles an
 d Strands (restaurants in Invermere) during the 1980s and 90s. Fortunatel
