About

October 23–November 5 Get in the Halloween spirit with AFI Silver’s annual celebration of scary movies! Highlights include our now-traditional presentation of F. W. Murnau's NOSFERATU with live musical accompaniment by Silent Orchestra, preceded by the humorous short film THE CAMERMAN’S REVENGE (1912) (presented as part of the Silent Cinema Showcase); a very special Count Gore De Vol presentation of THE EVIL DEAD (1981); the return of THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW with a live shadowcast by Bloody Mayhem Theatrical; a new restoration of the original cut of Masaki Kobayashi’s ghost story anthology KWAIDAN; a screening of THE RING (2002) in tribute to Daveigh Chase; 50th anniversary screenings of CARRIE and THE OMEN; and much, much more!
