Base Workshop: Denim Upgrade

Get under the hood of Denim, Base’s next major network upgrade. Led by Youssef from Base DevRel, this technical session breaks down how Base is scaling speed and responsiveness. We’ll cover 200ms native blocks (5 blocks/sec), millisecond onchain timestamps, and key architectural shifts. Learn what code changes and optimizations you need to make if you're building latency-critical apps or using Flashblocks. What to expect: Five blocks a second, ten times faster than today Apps that feel instant: checkout that confirms before the user looks up, and trades on fresher prices Live demo: watch 200ms blocks land in real time (Note: bringing a laptop is recommended for demos but not required) 📅 Date & Time: Wednesday, Nov 4 | 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM 📍 Location: Devcon Mumbai @ Jio World Centre (conference ticket needed to attend) | Base Meeting Room (Room 202, Level 2) How to get there: Route A (West Escalators - Closest): Take the escalators down to Level 2 at the west end of the building (next to the main lobby/staircase).
