About

On Sunday, November 1, join local artisan Sheryl Shore of Mile-End Soap & Candle Supply for an afternoon of beeswax candle dipping in the spirit of Shabbat. Guests will be guided through standard candle dipping methods as they create tapered Shabbat candles for their Friday evening rituals. During the workshop, Shore will also provide context on candle making, the life of bees and wax production, and her personal experiences with the craft. No prior experience required! Alternate candle making options are available for those who do not observe Shabbat: candlesticks, birthday candles, small tapered candles, etc. are encouraged as well.
