About

Venue: Springer Theatre, Thousand Islands Playhouse Dates: September 22 – November 1, 2026 38 planes. 7,000 passengers. One small town. Come From Away is based on the remarkable real-life events following September 11 attacks, when thousands of travellers were unexpectedly diverted to Gander, Newfoundland. As fear gripped the world, the people of this small town opened their arms in an extraordinary act of generosity.
