About

Celebrate the spirit of Winnipeg through music at this free, one-night-only Community Celebration, conducted by WSO Music Director Daniel Raiskin at the Centennial Concert Hall. Singer-songwriter Don Amero, a Winnipeg-born, three-time JUNO Award nominated artist known for his heartfelt storytelling and Cree and Métis roots, joins your WSO for a special performance. Hear some of Manitoba’s next generation of performers, including contralto Joanna Loepp Thiessen performing Saint-Saëns and pianist Bogdan Shunkov performing Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto in G minor.
