Special pricing – castle entrance included) Hailing from North Finistère, the Ar Soudarded (The Fighters) association is known for its faithful reenactment of medieval armored combat techniques. Drawing on this expertise, an unscripted foot tournament will showcase these 14th-century knights, who will face off in duels in the heart of the castle courtyard. To triumph, the challenge is to break clay targets affixed to their opponent’s body, under the watchful eyes of the referees, who will also be on hand to comment on the valor of these men-at-arms to the public. As with any good tournament, an awards ceremony will conclude the day.
