Easter Saturday gives Gold Coast visitors a full day in the middle of the long weekend. It can be the day for the attraction your family most wants to visit, with time for rides and shows, or a chance to spend several hours by the coast without fitting everything around an arrival or departure. The 2027 holiday is Saturday 27 March. Queensland officially lists it as the day after Good Friday, and it is a public holiday even though it falls on a Saturday. Easter Sunday follows on 28 March.
