About

November 28 @ 10:00 am – November 29 @ 4:00 pm This two-day workshop introduces students to the process of forging an American tomahawk under the guidance of Foxfire blacksmith John Scroggin. Students will work at the forge using anvil, hammer, and hand tools while learning tool safety, heat control, shaping, and finishing. This is a focused, hands-on class for students who are ready for a longer forge project and comfortable working around heat, tools, and repeated hammer work.
