About

SUPPORT: GARETH NEALE, PAUL MERRYCK COMPÈRE: JAMES COOK GERRY K is a London-born stand-up who grew up in rural Essex as one of very few black faces in a small, parochial community, an experience that still colours his material today. His style is anecdotal and observational, built on honest, first-person storytelling rather than one-liners, and it has made him a distinctive voice on stages across the UK. He came to comedy almost by accident, taking to the stage on a dare, and quickly discovered a natural gift for holding a room.
