About

Celebrate the season with winter traditions from around the world at Discovery Center’s Cultural Heritage Day: Holiday Open House! Families can join a museum-wide hunt for the Yule Lads, the 13 mischievous holiday visitors from Icelandic folklore, and help decorate a giant gingerbread house. Along the way, kids will learn how families in different cultures celebrate winter holidays, and Santa will stop by for a special visit. Admission for this event is reduced to $5 per person, so it’s easy to bring the whole family to make memories and learn something new together. Cultural Heritage Days at Discovery Center are made possible by the generous support of the Nissan Foundation.
