About

This is an exhibition of embroidery, story and survival. Each piece reflects cultural heritage, resilience and hope - preserving traditional techniques while providing vital income and independence. Hoori Handmade is a social enterprise supporting Afghan women artisans who have been stripped of many of their basic rights under Taliban rule. Through their embroidery, they preserve their cultural heritage, earn an income, support their families, and create hope for a better future.
