Discover how to create your own lively collagraph prints with light and shadow. We will explore designing and building collagraph plates to ensure they contain strong highlights, deep shadows, and everything in between. Planning and controlling tone in your design at the plate building stage makes it easier to produce interesting prints with depth and perspective. Printing the plates in different ways will give you feedback on the methods you have used, add layers of colour and enable you to build on the techniques in your own work after the course is over. Suitable for people new to collagraph printmaking, as well as those with some experience.
