About
We're sorry, some parts of the TPWD website don't work properly without JavaScript enabled. Try to catch the smallest fish possible with this unique fishing experience! Micro-fishing is all about catching the smallest fish possible, using special tiny hooks that can fit on a pinky nail. Not only does it create a unique challenge for anglers, it also allows us to appreciate beautiful and interesting fish that usually can't be caught by conventional angling. Come visit the Perch Pond to give it a try for yourself! No registration is required for this event, come and go as you please! When: Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 from 9:00am-11:00am Where: Perch Pond Bring: Water, and a snack if you need one. Wear: Good shoes for walking and dress for the weather! Cost: Free with a $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
