About

Andrey Zvyagintsev transposes Claude Chabrol’s La Femme infidèle to contemporary Russia, delivering a magnificent political allegory that dissects the mechanics of ego, violence and corruption. Screening as part of the 70th BFI London Film Festival. At the onset of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Gleb, a powerful CEO, is preoccupied with feeding the war machine with workers, when he learns of his wife’s infidelity.
