About

The first AA meeting - 855 Ardmore Avenue in Akron, Ohio - the home of Dr. Bob and Anne Smith, where with Bill Wilson the Godseed of Alcoholics Anonymous was planted. Dr. Bob’s Home is a pilgrimage for thousands of AAs every year during our Founders’ Day Celebration in June. You walk up 12 steps (yes, there ARE actually 12!) leading to the front door where you are welcomed HOME by a smiling AA volunteer! This legacy and our history must be preserved for future generations and it’s up to US.
How invme works
  1. See who's going — faces, not ticket counts.
  2. Write to someone who shares your interests — no swipes, no matches, no paywall.
  3. Pick the event or the place to meet at — and go together.
