Open Mic

Tonight kick’s off the winter of 2027 Open Mic line-up at the Opera House. These popular gatherings feature musicians and poets, storytellers and comics – in fact, we never know who might show up but we’ve never been disappointed with the talent over the years. Come cheer on your neighbors, shake off a little cabin fever, or test out a song you’ve been working on – Open Mic is for everyone! Host/emcee: Eric Lowe (also the Opera House Box Office Manager). Doors open at 5:30 and the mic goes live at 6:00pm. The Friends of the Opera House will have chili and dessert available for sale (cash only), and the Opera House bar will have cold drinks (cash only). Sorry, bringing your own food or beverages is not permitted. Talent sign-ups begin at 5:30pm. Time at the mic limited to 10 minutes or whatever is determined by the emcee depending upon sign ups on the night of the event, please be courteous of others. $5 cover charge (cash only) at the door for all ages.
