In different rooms around the House you will discover a range of items relating to scenes or characters in the novel – from beautiful portrait miniatures to books of heartfelt poetry, Italian love songs and a well-thumbed copy of the Navy List. Pick up a free trail and enjoy reliving moments from the novel as you explore the House where it was written. Details: Dates: 15 September – 15 November 2026 Times: 10am – 5pm (last entry 4pm) Location: This event will take place at Jane Austen’s House in Chawton. Find us.
