Printing Botanical Design

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to design a stamp and basic relief printing skills while observing the shape and design of botanicals. The session begins outdoors, where participants will sketch plants throughout the Garden for inspiration. Back inside, you will finalize your plant-based design and carve it for stamping and relief printing. Participants will then stamp their design onto a variety of paper options. The design can also be printed, and, time permitting, participants will experiment with a basic printmaking technique. For 18 years, she organized an award-winning craft market called the Indie Craft Experience.
