About

Our tapestry weaving classes are suitable for beginners and developing weavers. Learn the basic techniques of woven tapestry, before going on to experiment with colour and textures in tapestry weave. Over the course of four days, you will learn how to set up a small frame loom, consider the variety of materials and warp settings required for different designs, control the weaving tension, create shapes, angles, lines, and texture in the weave. As we begin to explore the process of woven tapestry, you will learn how to mix and blend colored yarns.
