About

Molière meets McMansion. Middlebury Actine Company drags Tartuffe out of 17th-century Paris and drops him straight into the granite-countered, three-car-garage chaos of nouveau-riche New England-and he fits right in. This razor-sharp modern staging trades powdered wigs for velour tracksuits, proving that religious hypocrisy, family dysfunction, and a con man’s uncanny ability to talk his way into someone else’s house never go out of style. Molière wrote the original influencer scam; we just gave him a Range Rover and a home gym. Come watch a 350-year-old comedy feel like it was written for 21st Century America.
