About

The breadcrumb trail links represent the path to the current page relative to the homepage link. September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, which honours residential school survivors and the children who were never returned home, as well as their families and communities. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada outlined 94 calls to action to advance reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples in Canada. The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation was created in response to Call to Action No. 80 and to ensure that public commemoration of the history and legacy of residential schools remains a vital component of the reconciliation process.
