3ETV program

A multi-channel TV station expanding the environment of 3 Evenings internationally to consider how performance and technology has evolved in an always on world. In 1966, 9 Evenings: Theatre and Engineering brought artists, engineers and scientists together in New York for a collaboration that introduced closed-circuit television, fibre optics, infrared cameras and wireless transmitters into live performance for the first time. It kickstarted nearly two decades of broadcast experimentation through E.A.T. (Experiments in Art and Technology). Today anyone with a phone can broadcast, dissolving the line between performer and audience, transmitter and receiver, democratised and on demand.
