- 1928Athletes and officials stayed at the hotel during the St. Moritz Winter Olympics. The Games' rabbit mascot later became the hotel's trademark animal and the Märky family's mascot; it won first prize for advertising logos at the World's Fair in Chicago.
- 1930The Märky family began owning and managing the hotel.
