- 1969Mr. Pickwick opened on 7 May on Rue de Lausanne, first occupying the building’s upper floor. Named for Samuel Pickwick, a character created by Charles Dickens, it helped introduce the English pub as a gathering place for Geneva’s international community.
- 1970sIt became a meeting place for locals, expatriates and visitors.
- 1980s & 1990sIt was recognised as one of Switzerland’s oldest English pubs.
