Historia
The cemetery remained in use until Schosshalden cemetery opened in 1877.
- 1765–1877The grounds served as Schosshaldenfriedhof cemetery.
- 1913The cemetery site became a public garden.
- 1917Rose planting began.
- 1918The pond complex and Karl Hänny’s Europa and Neptun sculptures date from this year.
- 1937Arnold Huggler created the bust of Jeremias Gotthelf.
