Historia
Since the Allianz Arena opened in 2005, it has mainly hosted cultural events. The park hosts concerts, trade fairs and exhibitions, drawing about four million visitors to around 350 events each year. The Summer Music Theatron has run annually since 1972; the Open-Air Pentecost Theatron has run since 2001. A plaque commemorates victims of the 1972 attack on the Israeli Olympic team. A memorial on Olympiaberg honors civilian victims of the Second World War.
- 1967The ice stadium opened on 12 February with a hockey game between FC Bayern Munich and SC Riessersee.
- 1968The Olympic Tower opened.

- 1972Eleven Israeli team members and a West German policeman were murdered in the Munich massacre at the park.

How is the park laid out?
Georg-Bräuchle-Ring separates the Olympic Village and Olympia Pressestadt to the north from the sports areas to the south, which include Olympic Hill and Olympic Lake.
What is inside Olympic Tower?
A revolving restaurant is at 182 meters. An observation platform and rock and roll museum are at 190 meters.
Is there an aquarium?
Yes. Sea Life aquarium is within Olympiapark and opened in 2006.
