Brent Butt

Canadian comedic hero This multi award-winning national icon has been making fans laugh for four decades with smart, relatable wit and small-town observational humour. Brent Butt's brand of comedy is on full display in Corner Gas, the distinctly Canadian sitcom he created and starred in. From screen to stage, Butt continues to prove why he is one of Canada’s most beloved comedic voices. “The guy is effortlessly hilarious, both in his routines and his improvisatory asides. There are people who know him only from television who may scoff at the idea of him being a master standup, but the man is generally revered among his fellow comedians, from alternative hipsters to filthy shock comics.” - Guy MacPherson, The Georgia Straight brentbutt.com https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmdkyUdKwhs
