אודות
When the Halloween festivities come to an end, bring your jack-ó-lantern to the Maryland Science Center for a memorable send-off. Our pumpkin launch tube is ready to propel your gourd down four stories from MSC’s roof to the patio below. It’s bound to be a smashing good time! The Maryland Science Center has hosted our annual Pumpkin Smash for the past 13 years as a fun way to divert pumpkin waste from the landfill. In 2025 we collected and composted approximately 1,200 pounds of pumpkin!
