She is on her way to meet Johnny, a Berlin rock musician. When she can't find him at the station, she sets off in search of him. She gets on the subway line 1 in the direction of Schlesisches Tor. There she gets caught up in the maelstrom of the city and encounters a panopticon of lost, searching, nagging, but also warm-hearted people, just like those on the Island of the Blessed in 1986.
