Par pasākumu
To believe in anything of consequence, whether political or theological, entrusts us to a message that, horror of horrors, we must share. But how? Even the best message in the world can be delivered badly, so badly that we’re tempted to share little else but updates on the weather. Looking at Psalm 1 and 1 Thessalonians 2, we will be exploring what attitudes the writers of the biblical text assumed to avoid undermining the good news they had to share. Which begs the question: ‘Are we doomed to share nothing but the weather?’
