Geschiedenis
A pilot with contacts in Russia helped the founders find the Ilyushin 14.
- 1992The aircraft left active service, passed to a private owner, and later moved between Moscow-Myachkovo and Zhukovsky.
- 2000The restaurant idea took shape around flying and travel; it gained urgency after Swissair was grounded.
- 2002The founders rediscovered the aircraft in Zhukovsky.
- 2005After an overhaul, the aircraft completed a test flight on 7 April.
- UndatedThe Soviet Air Force registered the aircraft as 01146, codename “Red 21.”

- UndatedThe aircraft was based at Moscow-Chkalovsk, also known as Star City, the cosmonaut training centre northeast of Moscow.
- UndatedThe founders chose a Russian-built Ilyushin 14 after DC-3 and Metropolitan options proved too costly.
- UndatedArchitect Andri of Otto+Partner designed the building; airport-side rezoning was approved in one year with support from Opfikon and Unique.
