Geschiedenis
Rolf Hiltl contacted the Frei brothers after hearing about their project through the media. Together, the Frei and Hiltl families developed the idea using more than a century of hospitality experience from Haus Hiltl.
- 1998Daniel, Reto and Christian Frei’s business plan for vegetarian fast-food restaurants entered the Venture 98 competition and won two awards.
- 2000The Frei brothers and the Hiltl family founded tibits. The first restaurant opened in Zürcher Seefeld; the business later expanded to Luzern and other cities.
