History
Johan Marguerat later revived the Malakoff, aiming to make it a staple of Swiss gastronomy.
- 1957Rosette and Fernand Marguerat founded the restaurant and began making Malakoffs.
- 1973Roland Marguerat and his wife Monique took over the inn.
- 1976The renovation and extension brought the inn’s capacity at the time to 140 seats.
