- 1899Founder Marie Stern acquired land in Wengi and built the Hotel und Pension Stern.
- 1905The hotel was sold to Edwin Bühlmann.
- 1909Edwin Bühlmann and Elisa Huhn renamed it Parkhotel Beau-Site.
- 1929The hotel was completely renovated and extended.
- 1969An indoor pool and sauna were installed in the main building.

- 1999During the avalanche winter, the fully occupied hotel was evacuated in February.
