History
The restaurant began as Cavour 21, named for the street number of its original premises. Armando Ezio Ferrari and Barbara Agnarelli created the modo21 brand.
- Before the restaurant projectThe founders ran a street-food shop measuring 2.5 by 1 metre.
- 2014The restaurant idea followed Alfonsina Trucco’s 2014 Pesto al Mortaio World Championship win.
- 2016Cavour 21 became modo21, a name chosen to express the founders’ philosophy and values.
