History
Dattein has become known beyond Ostfriesland as a cult pub. NDR also filmed a short report here about its live musicians, Die Datteiner—Hero & Peter.
- 1999The house was bought in autumn and converted into a harbor pub over the winter of 1999–2000.
- 2000Dattein opened on 13 April at 13:13.
- 2006 and 2008Scenes for the ZDF medical series DOKTOR MARTIN, starring Axel Milberg, were filmed inside and outside the pub.
- March 2010NDR recorded Jonny Hill at the pub for the NDR Hitparade.
