History
The youth camp gradually developed into a seminar and hotel business.
- 1930Lisel Moser began a place for youth camps and Reformed Church meetings, turning the Gwatt-Schilf estate into the Reformed Home and later the GWATT Center.
- 1945The Schilfhaus was built.
- 1960sThree tent-shaped buildings were built.
- About twenty years laterThe central Gwattstern building followed.
- 2008The GWATT Center was sold to the Hauenstein family and Klinik Schönberg AG. Plans began for extensive renovation and a modern resort concept.
