History
Brothers Nicolas and Mathieu Perrin come from the Vallée d’Illiez. Nicolas, the younger brother, manages the kitchen, staff, suppliers and marketing. Mathieu handles administration, accounting and manual work. He also manages the website. Their mother Sylviane sometimes helps with service.
- 2014The business began as Coffee Lounge at rue du Coppet 9, pairing coffee and burgers. Burgers became more popular, and the premises did not suit this style of cooking.
- March 2017It moved to ruelle des Anges 3 after a full renovation and opened as DOWNTOWN BURGER-BAR with a high-tech kitchen.
- 2021–2023Marília, Nicolas’s wife, joined the business in 2021 and began working in the dining room in 2023.
