History
It was renamed Everland in 1996; later additions included T Express and Lost Valley. Aibao gave birth to Fubao in 2020 and twins Ruibao and Huibao in 2023. A garden honoring the park’s original name and early history opened in 2021.
- 1968–1976Construction began in 1968. The park opened as Yongin Farmland in April 1976, with about 200 animal species, an orchard and safari visits.
- 1985Jigu Maul opened as South Korea’s first dark boat ride, depicting traditions from more than 18 countries.
- 1996The park was renamed Everland for its 20th anniversary. Caribbean Bay also opened that year as South Korea’s first water park.
- 2011The Ferris wheel closed to make room for more rides.
- 2013Lost Valley opened with safari trips in amphibious vehicles.
