History
Opera lovers gathered after performances to play Scopa and drink espresso. Caruso enjoyed the cafe’s coffee, cookies and cakes. The bakery built its reputation for freshness by baking small batches several times a day. Family-owned since its beginnings, it is now run by the fifth generation.
