History
Rüdiger Kowalke made the restaurant a destination for fish lovers worldwide within a few years.
- 1981The restaurant became associated with the Kowalke family. Wolf-Dieter served as head chef until retiring in 2012.
- 1 July 1997Dirk Kowalke took over as tenant and owner.
- 1999Susanne Kowalke joined the family and began looking after guests.
- 2011Benjamin Kast became Dirk Kowalke’s assistant, helping keep a Kowalke family member present during main service hours.
- 2018Jens Klunker returned as head chef after first joining the restaurant in 1989.
