Forsyth Park is a public park in downtown Savannah, Georgia, at the southern edge of the Historic District.

The fountain was designed by John Howard after Michel Lienard’s work and installed in 1858.
Janes, Beebe & Company made the fountain; the company also produced Capitol dome ironwork and Brooklyn Bridge railings.
Scenes from Forrest Gump and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil were filmed at the fountain.
