History
She and André Frésard-Cuche managed it for more than 40 years; their sons took over in 2008.
- 1863A hotel was first proposed for the Chasseral summit.
- 1875A mountain inn stood on the summit ridge.
- 1926After the 1925 fire, the hotel was rebuilt to Alfred Jeanmaire’s competition-winning design in Heimatstil, resembling a Jura farmhouse.
- 1965Suzanne Cuche bought the hotel for 170,000 CHF. It reopened the following year after the company was liquidated.
- 1967Suzanne and André Frésard-Cuche married and managed the hotel for more than 40 years.
