History
For 30 years the restaurant has focused on Indian cooking. The restaurant later moved from Týn to a larger home at Rybná 9, near the centre of Old Town.
- 1996Sanjeev Wadehra opens the restaurant as Jewel of India on Pařížská.
- 2002The original restaurant is lost in the Prague floods.
- 2009The restaurant reopens as Indian Jewel in the historic Týn quarter of Old Town.
- TodayStill run by the Wadehra family, which has run it since day one, at Rybná 9 near the centre of Old Town.
