History
The Jenke family helped restore and enlarge the hotel over the years.
- 1961Werner and Liselotte Jenke founded the hotel.
- 1988The hotel annexed the neighboring pension and began work to improve its standards. Many rooms later gained private bathrooms.
- 2001The hotel celebrated its 40th anniversary, and Doris Jenke took over management; she has managed it since.
- 2002Fourteen rooms were fully renovated; some received air conditioning.
- 2013–2020Many rooms were modernized.
