  1. 1983The wildlife park opened as Orono Exotic Cat World.
  2. 1995Safari Zoo Camp began operating as an overnight summer camp.
  3. 2011A wolf escaped and was shot by a local resident.
  4. 2018After an inspection, the park resigned from the Canadian Association of Accredited Zoos and Aquariums, then lost WAZA accreditation.
