History

1904The Société de l’Ermitage built Mon Repos as a purpose-built medical establishment. Architect J.-H. Collombet aimed to avoid the cold feel of contemporary clinic architecture.
1934Composer Maurice Ravel stayed at the Mon Repos Medical Centre after an accidental injury.
1950sAndré Kunz bought the building and had it renovated; it was converted into a hotel.
1970Joseph Segel bought the hotel and renamed it Le Mirador.
After five yearsThe Harvard Business School campus closed because it lacked students.

1983Harvard Business School’s European programme courses at the hotel ended.
2004 and 2008Renovations added rooms and a new reception and upgraded other spaces.
2009The hotel closed for several months to renovate the historic building and add a reception, 45 Junior Suites and breakout rooms.
