History
Before taking over Beausobre, Singh gained experience at Pizzeria Masseria, Restaurant Dun Hung and the Longerai in Morges. He knew Chef Suku from Villars, where Suku had worked for him. Chandigarh Tandoori had opened ten years before Singh sought to revive it and had been left for two years. Singh asked Suku for ideas, and they decided to rename the restaurant Mr. Pal after Singh.
- 1992Jaspal Singh arrived in Switzerland and began work at the Continental Hotel, where he worked for seven years.
- February 2007Singh took over Beausobre’s theatre restaurant, which served Indian food and pizza.
- 2019Singh opened King’s Tandoori in Villars-sur-Ollon.
- 2022After the COVID period hit hospitality hard, Singh left the restaurant and hotel industry.
