History
Before building a bridge, he drained marshland to create parkland. Its Riverview Room reopened after renovation in 2014, and Team Panama stayed there in 2026.
- 1959Lou Biffis bought land beside the Nottawasaga River for a resort amid the river and the valley's rolling hills.
- 1965After draining marshland to create parkland, Biffis built a 120-foot bridge over the Nottawasaga River.
- 1968The resort opened in fall with 40 guestrooms, a dining room, coffee shop and banquet room.
- 1986The resort added its first 18 golf holes.
- 1994The Sports & Leisure Dome opened with a tropical pool, waterslide, fitness centre, mini-golf, tennis, squash and racquetball.
